Who is Krisin Savko anyway?
I
graduated from Millersville University with a degree in Commercial Art.
After graduation, I took a job at a national camera company,
working in the processing lab and camera sales. I was a store
manager there for six years, and also taught photo classes at our
location.
Ultimately,
photography is my favorite of the graphic arts. As a photographer, I'm
most intrigued by the ability to indefinitely freeze a split second in
time. My motivation as a photographer is to photograph in a way that
involves the viewer by evoking emotion and sentiment. I not
only
strive to capture the moment, but also the spirit of the event, or the
personality of the subject. I also enjoy focusing on details,
highlighting a new perspective on something we may otherwise take for
granted. Lastly, my training as a fine art photographer
drives me
not only to capture a photograph, but to create a work of art.
I currently work as a Multimedia and Design
Specialist for a company that develops curriculum
for career and technical education. My work there includes
many
aspects of multimedia including, but not limited to, photography,
graphic design, videography, and desktop publishing.
What else do I photograph?
I
love to photograph just about anything, and love to have the camera in
my hand. Besides the subjects highlighted within the website,
I
enjoy taking to the streets, camera in hand solely for my own
satisfaction. In my free time, I most enjoy photographing
animals
and wildlife.
